What started in the late 1800’s with 30 tent sites and an outhouse (original Area 1), today offers over 230 large shady and sunny sites for tents and RV’s up to 40 foot, with up to 50 amp service and full hook-up. Modern restrooms and laundry facilities are available as well as an indoor swimming pool, fitness room and game room.
Kountry Resort Campground is situated on approximately 98 acres in beautiful Meigs County, just three miles from the Ohio River and the West Virginia state line. Kountry Resort Campground is a family centered resort with activities for the entire family. Anglers enjoy pulling trophies from the four lakes stocked with catfish, crappie, bass and bluegill, while others enjoy a game of basketball, volley ball or horse shoes. Events are planned throughout the year for the young and young at heart. Each year is highlighted with the July 4th Celebration and Fall Festival held in late October.
Entrance to the resort is accessed using a security card issued to each camper. Visitors must register at the office.

- Starting Monday June 7, 2010 we will be starting a water aerobics class on Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday evenings starting at 5:30 PM. Resort Members are free, all others $5. Come join the fun.
