If there is anything, we can do to make your stay more enjoyable please let us know! Policies and rules are in place to help promote the safety of our guests, employees and visitors. Our ultimate objective is to make Kountry Resort Campground the most safe and enjoyable family-oriented destination it can be. In order to ensure you receive your security deposit refunded you must leave the cabin in the condition you found it and abide by the rules in this document. Please make your guests aware of these rules and enjoy your stay at Kountry Resort Campground.

Cabin Policy

  • Check-in is no earlier than 3pm and Check-out is no later than 11am.  Late checkouts, without prior approval, will be charged a late check out fee equal to the cost of another night’s stay.  No refunds for early departures. If office is closed when you are departing the campground, please place your cabin keys and gate key in the black mailbox at the front gate. If the keys and gate pass are not returned or broken there will be a $15 replacement fee for each item not returned. Prior to checking out please remove all trash from the cabin and take to the dumpster, wash all dirty dishes and return to cabinets, turnoff all lights, fans and air conditioners. During winter months, leave the heater temperature set on 60 degrees. Rented linens should be left in the bathtub and not on the floor.

  • Blankets, bed linen and towels are not provided. For sanitary reason, you MUST use bed linens. There are two options: you may provide your own or you may rent the linens required for your cabin. Large deluxe cabins: three (3) full sized beds, Small deluxe/KK cabins: one (1) full size and two (2) twin beds, Park model: Two (2) full sized beds. Please let us know when making reservations if you will need linens during your stay. Housekeeping services are not provided.

  • Parking for Cabins: Number of vehicles allowed at a cabin depend on cabin size. Extra vehicles must park in the overflow parking in Area 3 or at the main entrance

Large Deluxe: Two (2) vehicles per cabin. Park one car on each side of stairs. DO NOT PARK ON THE CEMENT BLOCKS!

Small Deluxe: One (1) vehicle per cabin

KK Cabins: One (1) vehicle per cabin. Please park next to your cabin and do not block the center to allow campers access to the bathhouse.

Park Model: One (1) vehicle should be parked in the driveway beside the building. Extra parking in Pool Parking Area.

  • Occupancy: Each cabin has a maximum occupancy limit which will be enforced. If guests misrepresent themselves, they will be required to vacate the cabin without a refund. No house parties allowed.

  • Housekeeping: Do Not Move or Remove any furnishings, accessories, or linens (if rented) from your cabin for any reason or you will be charged $100. If additional housekeeping services are needed, please contact the office for prices. No routine housekeeping is provided during your stay. If the cabin requires extra cleaning after your stay a charge will be applied to your deposit. If items are missing or damaged beyond normal wear and tear, the deposit will not be returned. Do Not use rented towels or linen to wipe up spills or mud. This will be considered damage and not eligible for a refund.

  • Visitors/Guests: Visitors must sign in at the office before entering the park. You are responsible for your guests. After hours you must meet your guests at the gate and let them in. Do not allow other people to use your gate card. Visitors are required to leave the park by 11 pm or you will be charged a $10.00 per person overnight fee. If you know you are having overnight guests, please pay this fee during regular office hours.  Day guests who wish to fish or use the Aqua Park are required to purchase a wrist band. At this time, the indoor pool is closed to non-registered guests and the public. Registered guests: Wristbands must be worn for fishing/pool/aqua park. registered guests may not loan their wristband to a visitor.

  • Quiet Hours are Saturday and Sunday 11pm-9am, Monday-Friday 11pm-8am. Recreation areas and playgrounds are closed during these hours.  No guests will be permitted to disturb the peaceful quiet time of the other guests; if you disrupt others, you will be required to vacate with no refund.

  • Swimming: NO lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk.  Indoor pool is free for campers. The pool is no longer open to the public; only campers and members. Wristbands are required and can be obtained at the office. All children 3 and under MUST wear swim diapers. Swimming/fishing are not included on the day of check-out; fee is required. Aqua Park admittance is not included with your cabin rent. Use of the beach is free with wristband. Swimming and fishing are not included on your checkout day. In order to continue enjoying these activities, you must purchase a daily fishing/swimming wristband.

  • Fishing Ponds: License is not required. Wristband MUST be worn. Boats without gas motors may be used on the fishing ponds. Please observe all posted signs. Kayaks and paddleboats are available for rent, fee schedule is available in the office.

  • Smoking is not permitted inside the cabins. Violators will be charged $100 and no refund of security deposit. Smoking is prohibited in all buildings, cabins, playground or pool.

  • Pets are NOT permitted in the cabins. Service dogs with vest and proper ID are the ONLY exception!!! If misrepresented, renter will vacate the cabin immediately with NO REFUND.

  • Campfires: Must be contained in fire rings and attended at all times. Do not move fire rings. You may not bring in your own firewood due to Emerald Ash Borer disease. Firewood is available for purchase at the office. Do not leave trash in fire rings.  Fireworks are prohibited at all times. Charcoal grills are available at each cabin and throughout the campground. No grilling allowed on cabin porches.

  • Garbage: Dumpsters are available near the campground entrance. All garbage should be taken to these dumpsters. Do not place household trash in the campground restrooms. DO NOT Flush adult/baby wipes down cabin or restroom commodes.

  • Underage drinking of alcohol is prohibited. Please drink responsibly.

  • Illegal drugs are not permitted in the campground.

  • No hunting of any kind.

  • Personal fireworks are not permitted

  • Inclement Weather: No refunds will be given due to inability to get to the cabins due to lack of 4-wheel drive in winter weather. No refunds will be given due to weather and acts of God that cause electrical power, water or cable outages.

  • Refunds: No refunds will be made for the breakdown or malfunction of appliances (TV, VCR, AC, heater, pool, etc.), weather, location of cabin, presence of insects, road conditions on highways and driveway leading to your cabin. No refunds will be made after you check-in and/or take possession of the key or packet for any reason.

  • Deposits: Balance of your deposit will be placed back on your credit card after your stay is over and housekeeping has cleaned and inspected the cabin. If paid by check of cash, we will mail you a check 7-10 days after your stay is over. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN AT CHECKOUT. Please leave cabins neat, trash free and in order.

  • Personal Items: Kountry Resort Campground will not be responsible for personal items left behind in the unit. If you request us to pick up items and mail to you, they will be sent COD.

  • Liability: This rental program is under the management of Kountry Resort Campground who acts only as an agent for the owners. Under no circumstances will management be responsible for any loss, expense, damage, claim injury, direct or indirect, consequential or otherwise caused or incurred, as a result of any delays, substitutions, rescheduling, or changes in the provisions of accommodations by Kountry Resort Campground or by reason of acts of God, or by agents, employees, subcontractors, third parties, or as a substitute. Kountry Resort Campground reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service to any person and/or rescind any contract for accommodations or guest services. All properties are privately owned; management will not be responsible for accidents or injury to guests or for loss of money, jewelry, or valuables of any kind. If Kountry Resort rentals must seek remedy in court for any reason, all attorney fees and court costs will be paid by the customer.

Camper Policy

  • Visitors must sign in at the office before entering the park. You are responsible for your guests. After hours you must meet your guests at the gate and let them in. Do not allow other people to use your gate card. Visitors are required to leave the park by 11 pm or you will be charged a $7.00 per person overnight fee. If you know you are having overnight guests, please pay this fee during regular office hours.

  • Quiet Hours are Saturday and Sunday 11pm-9am, Monday-Friday 11pm-8am. Recreation areas and playgrounds are closed during these hours.

  • Campsites: only one camping unit and one vehicle per site. No extra tents, RVs or vehicles without prior approval. No parking in empty sites. Extra vehicles and visitors are to be parked in the overflow parking area.

  • Tent site occupancy is limited to 4 people per site. (4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children)

  • Golf carts: see office for details. No unlicensed drivers, no learner’s permits, no drivers under the age of 16, must have insurance on golf cart. Motorized unlicensed/toy vehicles are prohibited. Obey all traffic signs and speed limits.

  • Speed limit: 6 miles per hour throughout the park for all vehicles including golf carts.

  • Swimming: NO lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk.  Indoor pool is free for campers. The pool is no longer open to the public; only campers and members.   • Pets: MUST be kept on a leash and under control at all times.  Pets may not be left unattended at your site and must leave the campground whenever the owner leaves. No aggressive dogs. Dogs that exhibit aggressive behavior will be asked to leave. Clean up after your pets. No pets in cabins, buildings, playground or pool. Do not allow your dog to dig holes at campsites.

  • Campfires: Must be contained in fire rings and attended at all times. Do not move fire rings. You may not bring in your own firewood due to Emerald Ash Borer disease. Firewood is available for purchase at the office. Do not leave trash in fire rings.

  • Management assumes no responsibility for accidents, injuries or losses from any cause. The management reserves the right to evict anyone from the premises for detrimental conduct and/or violating the above rules.

Personal Golf Cart Policy

 

  • ONLY LICENSED DRIVERS MAY OPERATE A GOLF CART WITHIN THE RESORT; learner permits are not acceptable.

  • You must be at least 16 YEARS OLD and have a valid driver’s license in your possession to operate a golf cart.

  • Must register golf cart in office.

  • Must show proof of insurance.

  • Must abide by the speed limit of 6 mph.

  • Reckless driving, horseplay, racing or other misuse of the golf car is not permitted.

  • Any violations of policy will result in loss of privilege to operate a golf cart (by any guest on the same site)

  • Golf cart owners are responsible for the operation of the golf cart including any damages that result from operation
